UP Police SI Recruitment 2025
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has invited online applications for recruitment to 4,543 posts of Sub Inspector (SI).
The online application process for this recruitment ran from 12 August 2025 to 11 September 2025. Only candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria were allowed to apply.
Now the board has given another opportunity to those candidates who have made any mistake in their application form. The facility of correction in the application form has been made available from 12 September to 15 September 2025. UP Police SI Recruitment 2025: Important Dates Announced
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the official notification of UP Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2025 along with the application process and all the important dates related to it. According to this notification, the online application process started from 12 August 2025, in which thousands of candidates participated. The last date for filling the application was fixed as 11 September 2025. By this date, it was mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete their registration and pay the required fee.
Apart from this, the board has also clarified that the last date for depositing the application fee was also 11 September 2025. That is, if a candidate filled the application form by the last day but did not deposit the fee, then his application will not be considered valid. Therefore, the candidates were advised to complete all the formalities before time.

UP Police SI Recruitment 2025: Appointment to a total of 4543 posts
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released a total of 4,543 vacancies this time for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) posts.
Of these, the maximum 4,242 posts are reserved for Civil Police Sub-Inspector (Male/Female). Apart from this, opportunities have also been given in the women battalion, where 106 posts have been reserved for SI/Platoon Commander in Bareilly, Gorakhpur and Lucknow.
Similarly, 135 posts have been reserved for Armed Police/Platoon Commander, and 60 posts in Special Security Force (SSF).
Thus, this recruitment drive provides an opportunity to the youth to make the security system of the state stronger by joining the police service.
