The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online registration process for the University Grants Commission, National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December, 2025 exams. Interested candidates can apply for UGC NET December 2025 exam at its official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The aspirants have time till 11:50 pm of November 7 to complete their online application process. Following this, the application correction window will be activated on November 10 and will remain open till 11:50 pm of November 12.

How to Fill UGC NET Application Form 2025?
Step 1: Go to the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click on UGC NET registration link available on homepage
Step 3: Complete registration and then login
Step 4: Fill out the application form
Step 5: Pay required fee and submit form
Step 6: Take a printout for future reference
Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own or parents/ guardians only and accessible, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered mobile number only.
Aspirants must fill in their particulars carefully, as no changes will be allowed after the final submission of the application form. As far as possible, candidates are advised to use Aadhaar verification while completing the application form, as this will facilitate the registration and examination process, particularly at the examination centres, as also the processing of their JRF.
Exam format
The UGC-NET December 2025 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The medium of Question Paper shall be in English and Hindi only, except language papers. Option for medium of Question Paper should be carefully chosen by the Candidate, while filling the Application Form online. The option once exercised cannot be changed. Candidates are required to answer in the medium as per option exercised in the Application Form.
