Under the guidance and leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mazhar Asif, a special interaction was held today with the staff of the Sanitation Unit and Horticulture Department of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). The Hon’ble Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi, extended warm Diwali greetings to all safai karamcharis and malis who play a vital role in keeping the campus clean, green, and beautiful.
Prof. Rizvi appreciated their untiring service and commitment towards maintaining the university’s serene, clean and green environment. They also interacted with the esteemed Registrar and shared their views and grievances. Prof. Rizvi also assured them of timely redressal and continued institutional support.
As a gesture of gratitude, Diwali gift boxes were distributed among the staff, filling the atmosphere with smiles, warmth, and festive spirit. The event reflected the inclusive ethos of Jamia Millia Islamia, where every member of the community is valued and celebrated
