Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has announced new recruitment for Primary Teacher posts in 2025. There are a total of 1180 posts under this recruitment.
To apply in this, the candidate must be 12th pass and must have a B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) or D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) degree. the process of online application will start from 17 September 2025 and the last date to apply is 16 October 2025. Eligibility for DSSSB
To apply for the post of Primary Teacher, the candidate must fulfill any one of the following qualifications:
- The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (12th) or its equivalent examination and should have obtained 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institute.
- The candidate should have done 2 year D.El.Ed with 45% marks in 12th as per NCTE (2002 Regulation).
- The candidate should have passed 12th with 50% marks and completed 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- The candidate should have completed 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) with 50% marks in 12th.
- The candidate should have done Graduation followed by 2 year D.El.Ed from a recognized institute.it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test), which is conducted by CBSE.
- The candidate must have passed one of the languages Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English as a subject in class 10th.
5% marks relaxation will be given in class 12th for SC/ST category candidates.

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Teacher (Primary) for the year 2025. This is a golden opportunity for eligible and interested candidates to get a government job under this recruitment. DSSSB has invited applications for a total of 1180 posts.
